For some reason since we’ve moved, the speed of transfer between machines within the house is significantly lower than it was in the previous house. I guess it could be due to signal strength, but most of the routers report really strong signals.

What’s really frustrated me though was the lack of a really good tool to help a consumer debug their wi-fi performance. I know we’re not a typical setup by any stretch, but I thought there would be at least one or two programs out there that would do the trick. I know that was Network Magic’s goal and I haven’t tried it yet (their Speed Test tool didn’t help me much under Parallels.)

If anyone knows of a decent Mac platform program that could help me out, give me a shout.
